Respite Care for Children

Above all, I am a husband and father, and my family is my world. Their care and well-being are my utmost priorities. I understand the unique challenges that come with caring for a child with special needs, as my youngest son, Dion, was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder and substance abuse issues. His passing has inspired me to dedicate myself to serving families. My work with children with autism began in 2019 as a Paraprofessional Educator in the Northville School District, and I now work in an ASD classroom.  I am trained in CPR/First Aid, Recipient's Rights, Emergency Preparedness, and in managing disruptive behavior safely through the Crisis Prevention Institute.

Working with these children, teaching them essential life skills, and aiding them in achieving their individual goals is incredibly rewarding.  I recognize that while my workday ends, for parents and families, the care continues. This is where I believe I can offer support.  Respite care provides a necessary break for families of children with autism.  I offer relief from caregiving duties, whether it's a few hours to attend your other children's school activities, spend quality time with your spouse, or simply enjoy some personal time. Parenting is challenging, and every parent deserves a break to recharge. By providing respite, I aim to reduce stress and enhance the health and well-being of your entire family.

I am trustworthy, dependable, patient, and kind with children.  I could possibly be just what you need and a good fit for your family.  For more information about me please contact the following:
